It is reported that Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Guiyang Aluminum Magnesium Design and Research Institute jointly researched and developed the current domestic energy-saving high-efficiency type 220 kV with the largest single capacity, the widest pressure regulation range, the largest number of continuous on-load voltage regulators, and the highest technical performance. The successful downgrading on-load voltage regulating large-capacity rectifier transformer has made China's large-scale aluminum enterprises shake off the dependence on imports in terms of the choice of power supply rectifier equipment, and has created good economic benefits.
The power supply rectifier efficiency of the rectifier transformer is 98.62% tested by the national authority, which is higher than the 98.3% efficiency guarantee value of similar imported equipment. Since it was put into use in 2003, the system has been operating stably, and it has become a new product of power supply rectifier equipment representing the international advanced level. As the large-scale electrolytic aluminum power supply rectifiers are mostly similar to the second-phase technical reform of Yun aluminum, this project has a better Exemplary.
