Quenching Technology Operation Precautions for Heat Treatment Technology

Quenching technology operation is closely related to the performance of the workpiece. Because the workpiece in the quenching technology operation should pay attention to the following points:
1) The workpiece must not be exposed to water, oil or other contaminants.
2) When loading the furnace, do not throw the workpiece directly into the furnace of the industrial furnace so as not to damage the workpiece or damage the equipment.
3) There must be no oil in the quench water. Do not wash your hands in hardened water.
4) Do not use compressed air to agitate the quenching media to prevent the air from attaching to the surface of the workpiece and affecting the cooling rate.
5) The water temperature does not exceed 40C, the oil temperature does not exceed 80C, and the oil temperature is too high, which can easily cause fire.
6) Strictly damp or heated parts are heated in a salt bath and must be dried, otherwise they may explode.
7) When the graded quenching, alkaline bath or salt bath can not be spilled to avoid injury.
8) It is forbidden to adhere the nitrate salt to the work piece and immerse it in the salt furnace for heating.
9) It is forbidden to mix flammable substances such as charcoal and oil with organic impurities into the nitrate furnace, otherwise it may cause explosion.
10) The use temperature of nitrate should not exceed the maximum temperature allowed (usually 550C) to avoid ignition and explosion.
11) Add water to the nitrate bath or alkali bath, preferably at room temperature. If it must be added at a higher temperature, the temperature should not exceed 150C and should be poured slowly.
