Fan Yu's research team added a very thin layer of quartz glass to the surface of the battery, embedded with a miniature pyramid and a tapered structure. The quartz glass used in this design allows visible light to pass through, but it has the effect of refraction and reflection for light of a specific wavelength, thus achieving automatic cooling. Currently, researchers have conducted tests in the lab, and next, they will be tested in an outdoor environment.
