"Pyramid" surface design mode helps solar cells to automatically cool down

Recently, Fan Li, a professor of electrical engineering at Stanford University in the United States, adopted a new "pyramid" surface design, which can automatically cool the solar cells, thereby overcoming the increase in temperature and efficiency of solar cells during power generation. A big obstacle.
Fan Yu's research team added a very thin layer of quartz glass to the surface of the battery, embedded with a miniature pyramid and a tapered structure. The quartz glass used in this design allows visible light to pass through, but it has the effect of refraction and reflection for light of a specific wavelength, thus achieving automatic cooling. Currently, researchers have conducted tests in the lab, and next, they will be tested in an outdoor environment.
