In September 2010, the total power generation of the Northwestern Power Grid increased 19.02% year-on-year

In September, the total power generated by the Northwestern Power Grid reached 18.985 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 19.02%. Among them, thermal power generation amounted to 12.635 billion kwh, an increase of 21.01% year-on-year; hydropower generation amounted to 6.116 billion kwh, an increase of 13.96% year-on-year. The average power of all network calls was 17.84%, of which the electricity consumption in Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, and Ningxia provinces (regions) increased by 14.66%, 26.31%, 33.48%, and 3.05% respectively year-on-year.
